3 Powerful Ways to Deal With Rejection and Move Forward With Confidence

Ah, the sting of rejection.

Being rejected is amongst the worst feelings out there. It’s already daunting to put yourself on the line and then getting rejected feels like a punch in the throat. As horrible as it may feel, it’s always a good thing to have a way to deal with rejection so you can still move forward in life. In this article, I will share 3 ways you can deal with rejection and move on with confidence in the future.

  1. Cry About It

Please don’t bottle up your feelings. The more you’re able to express yourself, the better chances you have to move on from the rejection. Whether it takes you 3 days or a month to re-adjust from the dismissal, always honor how you feel. Cry about it, pick yourself up, and go at it again.

  1. Detach From The Outcome

One of the best laws of manifesting that I've learned is detaching from outcomes. It isn’t that you don't care what happens, it’s about putting the right intentions in place and then whatever happens happens. Detaching from outcomes is like sending something in the mail or ordering a dress online. When you put your card information in and get a confirmation email for your package you’re not biting your nails wondering if the package is going to come, right? You know it’s going to come so you just patiently wait for it to arrive. Detach.

  1. Have A Backup Plan

Don't put your eggs all in one basket. Always have a second or third (and fourth) choice when it comes to work, dating, an event, schooling, etc. Imagine if we all just applied to ONE college after high school and didn’t get in. Not only would that be a waste of time but then we’d have to scramble to get at least 4 other universities in line to make it in time for the fall semester. Always have another option to fall back on if your first one falls through.
