What Are Glimmers and How to Have More Of Them

To be honest, manifesting has always been a challenge for me, especially when it comes to things I really, really desire, like a new relationship or opportunity. Overthinking often hinders my ability to embrace the Lucky Girl Syndrome, but I'm working on it. However, what I excel at is experiencing glimmers. This blog of mine is one such glimmer.

So, what exactly are glimmers? They are those "Tiny instances evoking joy or peace, acting as cues for our nervous system to embrace serenity and safety." In simple terms, they're the opposite of triggers.

Curious about how to invite more glimmers into your life? It's all about doing things that make you feel alive! If you're unsure, think back to a time when you were utterly happy—when your widest smile and a sense of harmony enveloped you. If you haven't experienced such a moment yet, try some common glimmers like meditation, spending time in nature, being near water, soaking up the sun, or surrounding yourself with loved ones who cherish you as much as you do them.

What I appreciate about glimmers, in contrast to manifestation or LGS, is that I can create them easily. I don't have to rely on external factors or wait for my subconscious mind to align to feel more joy, peace, and calm in my day. One way to enhance a glimmer, in my opinion, is to engage your other senses when you're experiencing them. Take note of how you feel, what you hear, taste, smell, and see in that fleeting moment of joy. Perhaps your glimmer occurs with your partner; remember how they smell in that instance and find a fragrance or candle that captures that scent. Or cherish the memory of their smile.

The key is not to try too hard to force a glimmer; the best ones often emerge when you least expect them.
