6 Easy Ways to Romanticize Summer and Maximize Your Serotonin This Season
It’s the most wonderful time of the year: summertime. I wish I could bottle up and sell the serotonin that I feel when the weather is nice, the sun is out, and the sky is clear and blue. So, the more I can get outside, the happier I am.
Everyone deserves a healthy dose of leisure and luxury in their lives, and this summer is the time to go for it.
In this article, I am going to share 6 easy ways to romanticize summer and optimize the serotonin.
Wine Walks
It’s simple. Buy your favorite wine (boxed or bottled), grab a friend or two, find a beautiful path to walk, or get lost in good conversation. I like wine walks because they bring a little sophistication and charm to something simple. Pro tip: Walk around your dream neighborhood and manifest it as yours. Don’t forget to drink responsibly and have a wine carrier with you for discretion.
Yacht Club
If you live relatively close to the shore or a body of water, yacht clubs are a great option to socialize and do something new. Yacht clubs often host regattas and racing events, group cruises, social events, and more.
Social Clubs
If you can latch onto your friend’s Soho House membership or any other social club, do so. Depending on the place, they’ll have tennis courts, a pool, or a peaceful common area for people to get together, relax, mingle, and network.
Get in the Water!
Is there anything more beautiful than the ocean? Plan a fun beach day with a friend or your romantic partner, but instead, go big. Really take the time out to plan the snacks, drinks, and the ambiance of your beach/pool day.
Plan a Small Get-Together
As much as I love a huge festival-style party, I also like an intimate house party—I probably prefer the latter. Summertime is all about those small bonfire parties. There’s just great conversation and a real closeness you feel when you’re surrounded by your most special friends.
Dine Alfresco
I don’t know what it is about eating outside that I find so luxurious. Gone are the days of COVID-mandated time limits for dining at a restaurant; now we can eat and drink for as long as we’d like."
